Just to Straighten Out a Few Things

There has been some misconceptions regarding my blog.

The information I post is for anyone that has curly hair. Black, white, brown, purple or green. I honestly don’t care what nationality you are. I am stopped everyday by white girls with curly hair just like mines that want advice about their curls.

Yes my blog is called Curly Headed Black Girls. So? I’m Black (not African-American… I’ve  never been to Africa.) and the friend that was supposed to help with my blog is black. Which is why I named it the way i did. Even if you are “Other” you can still have kinky, curly, nappy hair.

So please feel free to ask any and everything that you can think of about your hair.

Changes to the blog… (kinda)

When i first started this blog, it was suppose to be me and my friend so that the blog could have 2 different perspectives from 2 people that had 2 different hair types, 2 different experiences and 2 different knowledge levels. Sounds like a good idea right?

Well, during the little time that i have had this blog I (Jennifer) have been the only one posting on it. So I have decided to make it a solo blog. Which I think might be a good thing. That way I can post about whatever.

So hopefully I will be able to keep up with it alone. I have been doing good so far.

Jibberish

As you can see, I have changed my theme. Halloween just so happens to be my second favorite holiday. My birthday is a couple of days before Halloween, so I always celebrate my birthday that day.

I hate to say this but the turn up shall be OH SO REAL.

Last year I didn’t get to celebrate because I had to be an adult. But this year I have guaranteed that I will be free that day/weekend.
